Will this work with my tractor?

Any tractor with an in-cab ISOBUS connector and AUX-N support on the joystick or armrest. Fendt, Valtra, John Deere, Case IH, CLAAS, Massey Ferguson, New Holland. They all use the same standardized in-cab ISOBUS connector. The module shows up in the tractor's AUX-N menu and you assign buttons from there.

Do I need to be an auto-electrician?

No, but you will crimp. The relay side is plain screw terminals and the module mounts on a DIN rail or with screws through its corner holes. The connector kits ship the ISOBUS mating connector with the contacts loose: you crimp them onto your own cable with a standard 18-16 AWG crimp tool, following the pinout diagram in the kit.

What can I wire it to?

Any 12V or 24V load up to 10A per channel. Work lights, beacon lights, solenoid valves for hydraulic functions, diverter valves, electric motors, locking solenoids. Run a third spool, a set of work lights, and a beacon from one module: 8 channels, 8 independent relays.

Do I need a special controller to assign buttons?

No. You use the tractor's existing AUX-N menu on the Virtual Terminal. Pick a button on the joystick or armrest, pick an output, done. The assignments are stored in the tractor. Reconnect next season and they're still there.

Can I mount it on an implement?

Yes, in your own enclosure. The module's housing is IP20, so implement-side use means fitting it into an IP65 or better box with glands for your cables. Don't pressure-wash the bare module.
