Hardware reset procedure for WiFi password and factory settings

Reset Functions

Use the BOOT button to reset device settings while the device is running.

Reset Options

Default Values After Reset

  • WiFi password: 12345678
  • OTA key: Regenerates automatically on next boot

WiFi Reset Procedure (10 seconds)

  1. Device must be powered on and running
  2. Press and hold BOOT button
  3. After 10 seconds, release the button
  4. The device restarts with the default WiFi password

Factory Reset Procedure (30 seconds)

  1. Device must be powered on and running
  2. Press and hold BOOT button
  3. Keep holding past 10 seconds
  4. After 30 seconds, release: the device clears all settings and restarts

BOOT Button Location

The BOOT button is on the main board inside the enclosure. You may need to open the enclosure to access it. The button is marked "BOOT".

Canceling Reset

Release the BOOT button before 10 seconds to cancel completely.
